Global Alternative Fuels ME Congress aims to bring together major industry representatives, such us Alternative Fuels Producers, Traditional Oil & Gas Companies, Petrochemical Producers, Investors and Industry Stakeholders, Suppliers, Technology Companies, Certification and Government Bodies to discuss major opportunities and challenges for the region and further afield.

It will link together major ME players with worldwide experts to cross share their production strategies plans, already implemented technologies, production upgrades and innovations, to bring the fuels markets to the new decarbonization era.

Dr. Marcio Wagner da Silva is Process Engineer and Stockpiling Manager focusing on Crude Oil Refining Industry based in São José dos Campos, Brazil. Bachelor’s in chemical engineering from University of Maringa (UEM), Brazil and PhD. in Chemical Engineering from University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. Has extensive experience in research, design and construction to oil and gas industry including developing and coordinating projects to operational improvements and debottlenecking to bottom barrel units, moreover Dr. Marcio Wagner have MBA in Project Management from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), in Digital Transformation at PUC/RS, and is certified in Business from Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV).

Being representative of KPI and chair of the RED task force in Hydrogen Europe I’m involved in policy work in favour of a hydrogen economy.

He also holds the office of Director and Owner of BioD Technology FZCO which he began in 2019 and has been actively involved in the production of a state-of-the art refiner that converts waste products to create Biodiesel since 2012.
